Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment.
The Alpha Course is a popular introductory Christian course that explores the basics of the Christian faith in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We will be running it at St Matthew's Church in Eye for 10 weeks, starting on Tuesday 30th September.
Sessions will run from 7 pm to 9pm.

Each Alpha evening will begin with snacks and hot or cold drinks.
Then we will watch a video together, discussing one of the topics of the course, usually for around 20-30 minutes,.
After the video, we will break into small groups to discuss the topic in a safe, open, and non-judgmental environment. This is where people can ask questions and share thoughts or personal experiences.
Everyone will be encouraged to ask any questions they have about Christianity, and there is no obligation to believe or commit to anything.
It is open to anyone, whether they are new to Christianity, have been in church for years, or are simply curious about the Christian faith.
The tone of Alpha is casual and welcoming. It's meant to be a space where people can explore the Christian faith without any pressure or preconceived expectations.
